Hi, I've been asked to do a "My ICLE Share" meeting this coming weekend. I'll be focusing a set of materials I've developed specifically to help future Study Abroad students home their observation skills, but I think the actual topic is much wider than that: all our students will be interacting with people who are different from themselves and they would all would benefit from developing practical skills they can draw on in such encounters.
So, I was wondering, what practical (rather than intellectual) activities you use to help students to prepare for their intercultural lives. Come along on Saturday if you can, but if you want to share ideas here before or after the session, that would be great, too.
